What we collect
We collect the information you submit on a brief or contact form (name, email, institution, brief content). Payment data is tokenised by our processor and never stored on our servers.
Why we collect it
To match your brief to the appropriate specialist, deliver the work, and audit the deliverable against academic-integrity standards. We never sell, syndicate, or share your data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How long we keep it
Brief content and deliverables are retained for twelve months from delivery, then archived offline for one further year for dispute-resolution purposes. After 24 months, all client-identifiable data is permanently deleted.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data at any time by emailing privacy@cogitoscholars.example. We aim to respond within seven business days. EU and UK residents have additional rights under the GDPR and UK GDPR respectively.
Cookies
We use a single first-party session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not run third-party analytics or advertising trackers.
